I have been pretty quiet around here lately. But good news! The end of the semester is IN SIGHT. Just a little over a week left and I can go back to thinking about fabric in the evening instead of homework!

ReplyDeleteIs it totally lame that I'm having a Christmas/Dominion party with Christmas cookies? For the actual day of, I'm hoping it won't snow, it won't be freezing cold, and I'll get to eat a ton of delicious food and drink apple cider. (I love sparkling apple cider.) And then too, I'll get to watch my kiddos open their gifts, and that should be a lot of fun. What are your plans?

ReplyDeleteWe have the usual Christmas plans, which I love, even though they are pretty quiet. Mass on Christmas Eve, the kids open a present each (always pajamas), and on Christmas morning we sip mimosas, open presents, and hang out till dinner is ready. Then--Downton Abbey's Christmas special.

ReplyDeleteWe are spending this Christmas like most of the ones we've had since we married - Christmas Eve with my family & Christmas Day with my husband's family. This is a special Christmas on both sides because his only brother is moving away in February and my only sister is moving away in January. It will be our last Christmas with all of us together. It's sad, but we're going to make the most of it.

We're going to stop in Chattanooga on the way home to visit Rock City and see all the lights before coming home to relax a little before school starts again!

ReplyDeleteWell OH is working until 7am Xmas day, so he's going to nap in the car while I drive the 2 hours to his parents, have xmas dinner, then a nap and then stay there for a few days. There's a hockey away game on Boxing day so we're going to watch that in the evening.

We host a donut fry the Sunday before Christmas, then dinner at the in-laws on Christmas Eve, then brunch with my husband's sister on Christmas day.
