I did it! I finished ripping out my sad, wonky FMQ on the scrappy chevrons quilt. I am now a quarter of the way through some nice straight lines...

It's still a bit unruly, but manageable! When it's done it will be a lovely cross-hatch. And I am no longer angry at it. So that's good ;)

I've also been putting my scraps to work this week making some mother's day gifts.

It has been a lot of fun playing with all these little squares! I'll show you more on Friday.

What are you working on?

Linking up to WiP Wednesday with Lee at Freshly Pieced!

  1. I'm glad you're not angry at the quilt anymore. It's too pretty!

  2. Ooooh - going to have to click around and find more pictures of this quilt! Love the colors - and the photo jumped out at me on the WIP Wednesday because I recently picked up some of that wide lime / white circles fabric for quilt backing and love it! :)

Yay for no longer hating the quilt - and for using up little scraps!

Thanks so much for leaving me a comment! They always brighten my day :) I do my best to respond to everyone unless there's a giveaway.
