It's a Tardis!

Hooray! I finished the piecing part of the Tardis wall hanging!
tardis block doctor who along

The light on top is a bit crooked, but other than that the whole experience really wasn't bad at all. I still might leave block 2: Time Lord for a little while, though. That looks much more fiddly. But I am so pleased with how this turned out! Now I just have to figure out how to quilt it.

I have also made quite a bit of progress with stitch and flip blocks. I'm now at 97! Only 47 more to go!

  1. I love the tardis....I took a look at the time lord and that is one scary looking paper piecing with all those fiddly small pieces. I would leave it too :-)

  2. Some serious paper piecing ... nice work! I was just enjoying the links and the flicker group for this sew along. Looking forward to seeing more blocks ... :) Pat

  7. Love the Tardis block, and I am with you on the Time Lord block. The Weeping Angel block I have seen on line looks like it might be worth working through.

  9. I really like how the pattern makes the top look so lovely and textured, almost pleated. Great job!

  11. That TARDIS is fantastic! I love the light details--the one I made didn't have one, it was a terrible disappointment, but I remedied it with quilting it on. And the purple background is perfect.
